 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Jigawa Govt Mandates Hijab for Female Security Personnel on Duty


The Jigawa State Government has mandated that all female security personnel wear hijabs while on duty, in a move to accommodate religious and cultural practices.


Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports, and Culture, Sagir Musa, announced the directive following a State Executive Council meeting chaired by Governor Umar Namadi.


The order applies to female employees of three private security firms contracted to guard schools, hospitals, and courts. Musa said the decision aims to create an inclusive work environment and boost the confidence of female operatives.


He added that the policy is in line with the state’s commitment to modesty, dignity, and workplace inclusion. Governor Namadi recently approved the recruitment of 9,969 youths as security personnel for public institutions.
