  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  OR Tambo Airport Police Officer Arrested for Murder


A 33-year-old police officer stationed at OR Tambo International Airport has been arrested for murder following a fatal shooting at a tavern in Bakenburg, Limpopo.


The suspect, Jan Sekhaolelo, allegedly shot 24-year-old Katlego Thubakgale during the early hours of Monday, 21 April 2025, after a confrontation between the two drivers. The incident occurred around 02:00 outside the tavern.


Police were alerted and responded to the scene, only to learn that the victim had already been transported to a local hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital, they found Thubakgale had been pronounced dead.


It is reported that the suspect, although off duty at the time, transported the victim to the hospital himself. Thubakgale succumbed to a gunshot wound to the right cheek.


The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation. Sekhaolelo's official firearm has been confiscated, and the matter has been referred to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID).


The suspect has been detained at Tinmyn Police Station and appeared before the Mahwelereng Magistrate’s Court
