 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Tension in Sunny Ade’s Family Over Music Legend’s Whereabouts


Concerns have emerged among the children of juju icon King Sunny Ade (KSA) over his safety and accessibility, with his daughter Damilola Esther accusing her stepbrother, Dayo, of holding their father hostage and mismanaging his affairs.


Damilola, in a series of social media posts, alleged that Dayo—who she described as KSA’s manager—was booking shows without honoring them and keeping the music legend out of reach.


In response, Dayo denied the allegations, stating KSA is healthy and actively performing, with a show scheduled in Akure on May 1. He clarified that he is not KSA’s official manager but only assisting temporarily.


Another son, David, also dismissed Damilola’s claims, affirming their father is fine. However, journalist Olawale Olaleye noted KSA has become difficult to reach, adding to the ongoing family tension.
