The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing.  NAPTIP Summons Speed Darlington Over Alleged Sexual Abuse Claim, Threatens Further Action

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has issued a summons to Nigerian entertainer Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, following a controversial claim that he slept with a 15-year-old virgin. The agency has threatened “further actions” if the singer fails to appear for questioning at its headquarters in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

The summons, issued on May 28, 2025, by NAPTIP’s Head of Cybercrime Response Team, Ngamaraju Mangzha, was prompted by a viral video in which Darlington made the admission, sparking outrage on social media. In a statement posted on X on Thursday, NAPTIP reiterated its call for the entertainer to respond to the invitation, warning, “Mr. Darlington Okoye (AKA Speed Darlington) is urged to address the official invitation regarding a viral video and others in which he admitted to sexually abusing a minor. Failure to respond may lead to further action.” The agency did not confirm whether Darlington had been formally served the summons.

Darlington has not directly addressed NAPTIP’s letter but took to X on Thursday to defend himself, claiming innocence. In a recorded video, he stated, “If I knew 15 would get me this much attention, I for say 12 make una head catch fire. Na because I dey Southern Nigeria, would you come at me like this if we were in Sokoto?” Facing backlash, he later released another video, asserting that his statement was a controversial joke meant to provoke reactions.

The entertainer’s remarks have fueled heated discussions on X, with some users condemning his comments as irresponsible, while others debate the context of his statements. NAPTIP’s move underscores its commitment to combating sexual abuse and trafficking, with the agency signaling a robust response if Darlington fails to comply.
