  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Nollywood Actor Godwin Nnadiekwe hospitalised for internal bleeding following a kick from a colleague, Zubby Michael


Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe has been hospitalised after his colleague Zubby Michael kicked him.


In an Instagram post, the actor revealed that he suffered an unexpected injury on a movie set with Zubby. 


According to him, while shooting a movie, Zubby had kicked him in the chest, which was not part of the script nor directed by the filmmaker.


Sharing more details about the unfortunate incident, he clarified that his post wasn’t intended to call out his senior colleague but to raise awareness about the importance of safety in Nollywood productions.


“Just wanted to share an incident that happened on set a few days ago. This isn’t to call anyone out, but it’s a serious reminder to prioritise each other’s safety on set. 


During a scene, I received a kick to the chest from my colleague who wasn’t part of the script or directed by the director.


It’s caused me serious pain. Had to get medication for my chest to feel better today. I did all these by myself. 


No assistance! When we’re working without insurance policies or readily available first aid, unexpected physical actions like this, even if accidental, can have real consequences. Let us commit to sticking to the script and ensuring everyone feels safe and respected.


What if something more serious had happened? Or this went south? Every action on set, particularly physical ones, must be intentional and within the director’s vision. 


Please let us all look out for each other and ensure our sets are always safe spaces where everyone feels secure and protected. 


Our health and safety are paramount. Our well-being should always come first. Peace !!!”


In a follow-up post, his management revealed that the actor has been hospitalised for internal bleeding and is receiving treatment.

He is undergoing treatment for internal bleeding following an incident involving a kick on the chest during filming with his colleague Zubby Michael.
