  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Zelensky calls Russian team in Turkey ‘phony’ as Putin skips peace talks



 After a day of uncertainty, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky says he’s sending a team to Istanbul for peace talks with a Russian delegation. He’s announced his defense minister will lead the delegation.


 Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, who first proposed the talks, won’t be attending. Nor will Zelensky, who said that he would not meet any official but Putin.


Another key figure who won’t be there is US President Donald Trump, who had repeatedly hinted that he might upend his Middle East travel schedule to join the negotiations. He said Putin’s absence didn’t disappoint him, and that “nothing” would happen on Ukraine until he meets him.


Kyiv and Moscow are not known to have held direct talks at any level since soon after Moscow launched its unprovoked, full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. But the stakes are higher this time, as both Trump and Ukraine’s European allies said they would impose more sanctions on Moscow if it didn’t agree to a ceasefire.
