 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A KENTUCKY WOMAN CRASHED INTO A SAVE A LOT STORE AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED AND WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE INTO THE STORE.(PHOTO).

 A Kentucky woman crashed into a Save A Lot store at a high rate of speed and was ejected from the vehicle into the store.


A Georgetown Police Officer clocked a vehicle being operated by Amber Samokar going 71 mph in a 55 mph zone on McClelland Circle at 1:50 a.m.,  Monday morning. The officer wheeled around to initiate a stop but discovered the vehicle had crashed on US 25.


The officer then approached the vehicle to check the condition of the driver, however as he was approaching the vehicle, Amber sped off. The officer made his way back to his cruiser and contacted dispatch for permission to pursue.  


Before he could receive that permission the incident came to a shocking conclusion. The vehicle slammed into the front of the Save A Lot grocery store on Broadway. The impact sent Amber Samokar through the windshield of her vehicle and into the store.


Officers quickly located Samokar suffering from serious injuries. She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.


When Amber Samokar is released from the hospital she is facing a long list of charges. Amber is being charged with fleeing and evading police, wanton endangerment of a police officer, reckless driving, criminal mischief, DUI and speeding.
