Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in coordinated black looks for New York stroll Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare joint appearance in New York City, stepping out together for a relaxed afternoon in matching, understated fashion. The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing.  APC Clarifies Why Shettima Was Excluded from Tinubu’s Second-Term Endorsement

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has addressed speculations surrounding the omission of Vice President Kashim Shettima from the party’s recent endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for a second term in 2027. Speaking on Monday, APC National Vice Chairman (North East), Mustapha Salihu, clarified that including Shettima in the endorsement would have implied that Tinubu had already selected his running mate for the upcoming election.

“It would have been inappropriate to endorse the Vice President along with the President because it would pre-assume that he is the running mate,” Salihu explained.

The clarification follows the North-East APC stakeholders’ meeting in Gombe on Sunday, where the region unanimously endorsed President Tinubu for re-election but notably excluded Shettima. The omission has sparked widespread speculation about the Vice President’s political future, with many questioning his role in Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.

Salihu’s remarks aim to quell concerns, emphasizing that the decision was a procedural one and not a reflection of Shettima’s standing within the party. The APC’s stance comes as political alignments and strategies begin to take shape ahead of the 2027 general elections.
