 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

 CAS HAILS GALLANTRY OF FRONTLINE TROOPS DURING COMBINED LUNCHEON WITH COAS IN MAIDUGURI


In a powerful show of solidarity and joint resolve, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, today 7June 2025, joined frontline troops of Operation HADIN KAI in Maiduguri to celebrate Eid al-Adha. He was in the company of the Chief of  Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede and the Guest of Honour, the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, and other dignitaries, reaffirming the Armed Forces’ united front in the fight against terrorism.


Addressing troops at Headquarters Joint Task Force North-East Operation HADIN KAI, the CAS hailed the bravery, professionalism, and sacrifices of Nigerian Air Force personnel and their counterparts in sister services. He described their unwavering service as a beacon of hope and a testament to Nigeria’s collective resolve against insurgency and insecurity. 


Air Marshal Abubakar drew inspiration from the essence of Eid al-Adha, sacrifice, obedience, and faith, underscoring how these values mirror the military’s enduring commitment to defending the nation. He applauded the troops for recent operational gains in Damboa, Marte, Bitta, and other key locations, noting that their actions continue to dismantle terrorist networks and restore normalcy in affected communities.


Highlighting recent efforts to bolster joint capabilities, the CAS announced new deployments of air assets for both combat and logistics roles, around-the-clock ISR coverage, and precision strike operations. He also revealed ongoing upgrades to UCAV weapon systems and anti-drone technologies, assuring troops of sustained air support in all weather and combat conditions.


The CAS reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s unyielding commitment to troop welfare, lauded the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and paid glowing tribute to fallen heroes. He called on personnel to remain vigilant and mission-focused. The visit culminated in a symbolic Eid luncheon, reinforcing camaraderie, unity of purpose, and the growing synergy among security forces. It was a celebration not only of faith, but of a shared determination to secure Nigeria.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
