 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Olympic gymnastics legend Simone Biles delivered a scathing response to former swimmer Riley Gaines after Gaines mocked a 17-year-old transgender softball player who helped lead her Minnesota high school team to a state championship. 


  Biles called Gaines "truly sick" and a "straight up sore loser," referencing Gaines' tie for fifth place with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas at the 2022 NCAA Championships. The seven-time Olympic gold medalist didn't stop there, writing: "You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive... But instead... You bully them." Gaines fired back, defending her stance that "men don't belong in women's sports." This heated exchange highlights the ongoing national debate over transgender athletes in competitive sports. The young softball pitcher, Marissa Rothenberger, threw a complete-game shutout to secure her team's victory.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
