 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A BELOVED HORSE FOLLOWED THE HEARSE CARRYING AN 8-YEAR-OLD VICTIM OF THE TEXAS FLOODS.(PHOTOS).

 A beloved horse followed the hearse carrying an 8-year-old victim of the Texas Floods.


In a sweet and heartbreaking tribute to Virginia Hollis, her grandfather led her horse, 'Salt Valley', behind the hearse during her funeral procession on Wednesday, July 16th.


Virginia was one of the 27 people from Camp Mystic who lost their lives in the July 4th floods. It was several painful days before authorities were able to locate and recover Virginia.


Her funeral was held in Bellville, Texas on Wednesday. Residents lined the streets to show respect for the young girl taken away much too soon. 


Virginia's parents say she was a little cowgirl who loved the rodeo. It only seems fitting that her horse be present as she was laid to rest. 


Our thoughts are with the family of Virginia Hollis and all the families picking up the pieces after that devastating day.
