 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.    I may relocate to Nigeria, become third wife of African king – American singer Summer Walker


American singer Summer Walker has expressed her excitement about visiting Nigeria, saying she “can’t wait” to come to the country.

The R&B star admitted she feels apprehensive because she believes that once she visits Nigeria, she may never return to the United States.

The mother of three revealed her desire to relocate to Nigeria with her children and become the third wife of an African king.

Walker made the remarks during a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra.

“I want to go to Nigeria so bad. But I’m scared because I know I won’t come back. I just want to take my kids and just like, we gone!” she said.

When asked what she had heard about Nigeria, Summer responded, “It just seems so fun. I had my first African dish the other day, it was good as heck. I just know I won’t come back. I would be somebody’s third wife. Me and my kids would be put up in some African king’s house. I know it.

“My nyash is good. I’m prepared. I’m ready. I’ve been waiting for this.”

She also disclosed that she had planned to celebrate her 29th birthday in Nigeria in April, but had to cancel after her children fell ill.

Walker assured fans that she still intends to visit the country soon.
