MUSIC PRODUCER DROPS N120M FOR PORTABLE-VDM DUEL

A popular music producer and artiste manager, Soso Soberekon, on Sunday offered to sponsor a physical between Portable and Verydarkman. Winner goes home with N100 million and loser pockets N20 million.

Soberekon said that since singer Portable has challenged the human rights activist to a duel following their online spats, it is best to settle the fight inside a boxing ring while making money in the process.

“The street’s most talked-about voices…now let your fists do the talking," Soberekon wrote on Instagram. "No more talk! Let’s turn this online cruise into real-life bruises!

“PORTABLE vs VERYDARKMAN. 2 mouths, 1 ring. Who go survive? I’m putting N120 MILLION on this wahala: Winner N100 MILLION, Loser N20 MILLION (Yes, even the beaten man goes home smiling) VENUE: KFT EVENT CENTER-WARRI, DELTA STATE. Talk no dey finish, sign the dotted line and enter ring if body dey tell una.”

Despite beating actor Charles Okocha and singer Speed Darlington in celebrity fights, Portable turned down the N120 million and said he will only fight VDM for N1 billion.

"That ₦100 million, my fans give it to me," he said in a video on Sunday. "₦100 million is small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me N1 billion, I will fight him and beat him.

“If anybody can drop ₦1 billion, I will fight him. Someone you can’t hold, you are now asking me to fight and beat him. You are scared of him, you can’t jail him.
