 NIGERIAN TO ATTEMPT GUINNESS WORLD RECORD FOR LONGEST MAKEUP 


Nigerian makeup artist, Theresa Emegwara aka TesGlam, aims to win the Guinness World Records for longest makeup application. 


Having been approved by Guinness World Records to execute the ambitious feat, TesGlam has set August 14, 2025, for the attempt. 


She intends apply makeup continuously for 144 hours - equal to six days. 


“This attempt is more than just about setting a record; it’s about pushing boundaries, inspiring a generation, and showcasing the immense talent within Nigeria’s creative economy,” TesGlam stated. 


“It’s about demonstrating that with passion, perseverance, and unwavering dedication; dreams, no matter how ambitious, can indeed become a reality. I am immensely proud to bring this challenge to Nigeria and hope it ignites a spark of ambition in every young person.”


Ghana’s Akosua Mantey Roselyn achieved the same feat in 103 hours, 25 minutes and 33 seconds on April 3, 2024. She's the holder of the Longest Marathon Applying Make-Up world record.
