 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  NIGERIA'S ENVOY TO GUINEA-BISSAU IS DEAD 


Nigeria's Acting Head of Mission in Guinea-Bissau, Zainab Joy Momodu, is dead. The Chargé d’Affaires ad interim died on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Military Hospital in Bissau following a brief illness.


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reached out to Momodu's family and colleagues to commiserate with them on her demise. She was described as a hardworking diplomat that negotiated several agreements for Nigeria.


“Her passing is a profound loss not just to the Ministry, but to the entire diplomatic community,” the Ministry stated. “She served the nation with distinction, and her absence will be deeply felt.”


Mrs. Momodu joined the Nigerian Foreign Service in 2010 as part of the 20th Regular Course of the Foreign Service Academy.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
