  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. In a significant step toward enhancing the security of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Benue State, the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Sir James Aondoakaa Iorpuu, PhD, has refurbished a critical security vehicle to support surveillance and emergency response operations.


The refurbished vehicle is expected to improve mobility and response time for security personnel tasked with patrolling and safeguarding SEMA facilities and IDP camps across the state. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the agency to reinforce safety measures and provide a more secure environment for displaced families.


According to SEMA, the move aligns with its commitment to ensuring the welfare and protection of vulnerable citizens amid rising security concerns in various parts of the state.


Sir James Aondoakaa Iorpuu, known for his hands-on leadership, has continued to implement practical steps not only to provide humanitarian support but also to foster a stable and protected atmosphere in and around displacement camps.


The refurbished security vehicle is seen as a symbol of proactive governance and a renewed focus on the safety of those affected by conflict and crisis in the region.
