 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  SENATE SAYS AKPOTI-UDUAGHAN IS MAKING SKITS 


Following the attempt of suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to force her way into the National Assembly on Tuesday, the Senate mocked her for content creation.


This fact was voiced by the chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Yemi Adaramodu, who said the suspended senator is creating season films.


“We are legislators and lawmakers, not spectators to be watching skit making and content creation.


“Initially I said all these episodes and saga is all about content creation, now that the content has been created, it’s now degenerating into a season film.


“I know that Nigerians know that this is another skit making and a continuation of the content making episode by our own colleague," Adaramodu stated.
