 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Shocking Claim: Baba Fryo says African men allowed to cheat


Veteran Nigerian musician Baba Fryo has claimed that African men can not be accused of cheating because the culture allows them to be polygamous.

The singer stated that the concept of cheating in relationships is a Western concept. While speaking in an interview with the Honest Bunch, Baba Fryo emphasised that Africa practices polygamy.

He stressed that the African culture allows a man to be with multiple women. The singer also stated that this grace does not extend to women.

Baba Fryo went on to state that a man is a lord over his wife because he pays her bride price.

“African men don’t cheat because African culture doesn’t condemn men cheating. It’s Western men who cheat. African traditions permit men to marry multiple wives. It’s women who can be held accountable for cheating because African men pay bride price. We don’t marry with flowers. We settle both families and community just to marry. After carrying out all the expensive marriage rites, won’t you see me as a lord over the woman?,” he said.
