Award-winning singer and producer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, is launching a music academy to empower young women in the entertainment industry.
Tems' new platform, Leading Vibe Initiative, launches in Lagos on August 8-9. Potential female artistes and songwriters as well as producers between the ages of 18-35 can apply. The deadline for application is July 13.
“My goal with the Leading Vibe Initiative is to help discover and support talented young women who have the potential to redefine the industry,” Tems said.
The initiative will offer mentorship, hands-on workshops, music production equipment, and industry opportunities as well as collaborations with top artistes and global industry executives.
