 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s body to be transported to Los Angeles . 

Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s body is being prepared for return to Los Angeles after his remains were released to his family following the completion of an autopsy in Costa Rica. Officials confirmed that the autopsy was finalized on Wednesday morning, and his body is expected to depart Costa Rica on Thursday, arriving in Los Angeles by Friday morning.

The U.S. Embassy is assisting Warner’s family with arrangements to bring him home. According to sources familiar with the situation, Warner had been in Costa Rica with his daughter as part of a homeschooling program. His wife, who had been with them in the country weeks earlier, was not present at the time of the incident and reportedly learned of his passing via a phone call.

Warner, 54, tragically died by accidental drowning at a beach without lifeguards. He was found unresponsive in the water and could not be revived. Authorities also confirmed that a 29-year-old Nicaraguan man involved in the same incident was treated and released without complications.
