CJN Bans Lawyers, Court Officials to Stop Using ‘Barrister’ as Official Title The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, has directed lawyers, court officials and other legal personnel to discontinue the use of “Barrister” as a prefix to their names in all official engagements at the Supreme Court. The directive was contained in a memorandum dated July 13, 2026, and signed by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Kabir Akanbi. The circular, which was addressed to litigation staff, legal practitioners, court registrars and lawyers, stated that the directive took immediate effect and was aimed at upholding professional standards within the apex court.  CHEATING WIFE DIES IN HOTEL AFTER SEXX ROMP 


A woman identified as Paulina has allegedly died in a hotel room following a sexx romp with an unidentified lover.


A mother of three that had been married for 15 years, Paulina was married to an okadaman who revealed after her death that she had been cheating on him for years.


On the day she died, Paulina reportedly left her children at 10 pm and sneaked away to join her lover at a guest house. 


Her husband returned to find her gone, and went to a police station to report her disappearance when she didn't return throughout the night.


While filing a report at the station, some police officers entered to report they just evacuated the body of a woman to the mortuary. Paulina's husband went with them to find it was actually his wife.
