 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations. Gospel musician and evangelist Akwasi Nyarko has taken to social media with a heartbreaking plea, claiming he’s been neglected after publicly supporting President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).


In the emotional video circulating online, Akwasi Nyarko begged for support for himself and his family. 


“President Mahama, it looks like you've forgotten me. I composed a campaign song for you. 


"Right now, I’m hungry—I haven’t eaten in three days. My child has dropped out of school because I can’t pay the fees,” he said.


According to him, ever since he openly backed the NDC, life has taken a turn for the worse. 


He claims his music career suffered due to political backlash, and he's now struggling just to survive.


The gospel artiste’s appeal has drawn mixed reactions online.
