 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. INEC CHAIRMAN MAHMOOD YAKUBU HAS STATED THAT THE COMMISSION IS CONSIDERING ALLOWING PRISON INMATES TO VOTE IN ELECTIONS. (PHOTO).

 INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu has stated that the commission is considering allowing prison inmates to vote in elections. 


Speaking on Friday while receiving the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Sylvester Nwakuche, at the Commission's Headquarters in Abuja, Yakubu affirmed the Appeal Court's judgment granting inmates the right to register and vote. 


He referenced previous meetings with the service to work out modalities for accommodating affected inmates, including access to facilities and addressing political parties' concerns. 


Yakubu reiterated the need to seek the National Assembly's intervention and assured the service of INEC's determination to facilitate inmates' voting rights in accordance with existing laws.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
