No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

Israeli forces kill four aid workers near Gaza City, hospital, and witnesses report

Israeli forces killed four Palestinians seeking aid on Sunday while traveling through a military zone south of Gaza City, according to a hospital and eyewitnesses. The area is frequently used by residents attempting to reach food distribution points.

The deaths underscore growing humanitarian concerns as parts of Gaza face famine and Israel prepares for an offensive in the city’s northern districts. A U.N.-backed assessment recently declared famine in Gaza City, warning it could spread without a ceasefire or eased aid restrictions, though Israel disputes the findings. Witnesses said the four were shot as troops opened fire on a crowd approaching a site run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. Survivors described indiscriminate gunfire, with some people falling after being hit.

The incident is part of a wider pattern at aid distribution sites, where hundreds of Palestinians have been killed while seeking food or medical assistance. The Hamas-run Health Ministry reports more than 62,000 deaths overall in the conflict, including nearly 290 malnutrition-related deaths, with children among the casualties. Half of those killed are reported to be women and children.

Residents in Gaza City and surrounding areas described nonstop explosions and widespread destruction as Israel intensifies operations ahead of a potential offensive. Many displaced families remain in densely populated shelters despite ongoing airstrikes and military activity. Witnesses reported seeing homes razed and neighborhoods flattened, with some alleging efforts to forcibly remove civilians.

The looming operation threatens the lives of hundreds of thousands of residents in northern Gaza, an area Israel considers a Hamas stronghold. The conflict began after Hamas-led militants attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing around 1,200 people and abducting 251, with roughly 50 hostages still in Gaza.
