  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  LASG RESPONDS TO PELLER'S N36M TAX COMPLAINT 


Following the outcry of popular TikToker, Peller, that he was given an outrageous tax bill of N36 million in Lagos State, the government has promised to look into his case.


The Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tax and Revenue, Abdulkabir Ogungbo, said it behoves everyone living and earning incomes in Lagos State to pay tax.


"Whether you earn physically or virtually, as long as you reside in Lagos and enjoy the state’s infrastructure, you are expected to pay your tax here—unless you can prove you are paying in another jurisdiction,” Ogungbo said.


He stated that the specifics of Peller's residence and incomes will be ascertained before he can comment directly on his issue. "While we still need to investigate the details of this specific case, the principle is clear: if you earn, you must remit taxes,” he stated.
