 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Lionel Richie's Beverly Hills residence targeted in burglary

Lionel Richie’s Beverly Hills home was the target of a burglary early Friday morning. Beverly Hills police responded to a call shortly after midnight, reporting a residential break-in in the 90210 neighborhood, where the singer-songwriter owns a property.

Authorities arrested a man named Michael John Bond on suspicion of residential burglary, though the District Attorney has not yet filed formal charges. Investigators are reviewing security footage and other evidence from the scene. Richie was reportedly at home during the incident, but the intruder fled after triggering the property’s security alarm and did not take any items. This incident adds Richie to a growing list of celebrities whose homes have been targeted by thieves this summer, including Brad Pitt, Teddi Mellencamp, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Elizabeth Chambers, and Ashlee Simpson with Evan Ross.
