  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Tragic Stabbing at University of Venda Leaves First-Year Student Dead, Boyfriend in Custody


In a shocking incident that has rocked the University of Venda (Univen) community, a first-year female student was stabbed to death in an off-campus residence, allegedly by her boyfriend, another student at the institution. 


The 20-year-old victim, who was pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in language practice, was found with multiple stab wounds to her upper body. The suspect, a 20-year-old second-year Bachelor of Environmental Sciences student, was arrested for murder and is currently under police guard in a medical facility after injuring himself while attempting to flee.


According to eyewitness accounts and university statements, the couple entered their shared residence in good spirits on Friday afternoon, showing no visible signs of distress or conflict. 


However, just minutes later, screams and loud noises emanated from their locked room, alerting nearby residents and prompting a swift response from campus security. Upon forcing entry into the room, security personnel discovered the young woman lying in a pool of blood, unresponsive and later declared dead at the scene. Two knives believed to have been used in the attack were recovered from the room.


In a desperate bid to escape, the suspect reportedly jumped from the second floor of the building, sustaining injuries in the process. He was immediately apprehended by authorities and taken into custody.
