  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure.  Jay Cutler begins jail sentence for DUI 

Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler has reported to a Tennessee jail to begin serving a DUI sentence. Cutler was booked into Williamson County Jail on Monday morning and is expected to remain there until Friday.

Last month, Cutler pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI and was sentenced to four days in jail. In addition to his time behind bars, he was ordered to pay a $350 fine, complete one year of supervised probation, attend a DUI safety class, and have his Tennessee driver’s license revoked for one year.

The charges stem from an October 17, 2024, traffic incident in Franklin, Tennessee, when Cutler was accused of showing signs of intoxication after rear-ending another vehicle. Authorities reported that he appeared intoxicated at the scene, with bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Cutler was also sued by the other driver, Perry Lee, who claimed he sustained injuries in the accident and continues to experience daily pain. Neither Cutler nor his attorney has publicly commented on the matter.
