Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in coordinated black looks for New York stroll Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare joint appearance in New York City, stepping out together for a relaxed afternoon in matching, understated fashion. The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing. Long before becoming fashion insiders, the sisters built global recognition as child actors through projects like Full House, It Takes Two, and New York Minute. Over time, they stepped away from Hollywood and fully transitioned into fashion, officially launching The Row in 2005.  Most donations are eye service – Shehu Sani reacts as Tinubu’s wife raise N20b

Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has described as eye service donations made to people in the corridora of power.

Sani made the claim in a post on his official Facebook page on Tuesday while reacting to the over N20 billion raised by President Bola Tinubu’s wife, Remi Tinubu for the National Library.

DAILY POST had reported that the First Lady on Tuesday announced that she raised more than N20 billion so far towards the completion of the National Library project in Abuja.

Reacting, Shehu Sani said that Remi was lucky, stating that the wife of former President, Musa Yar’adua, who made a similar move, was unlucky.

According to Sani, many people who pledged to donate billions to her International Cancer Center refused to redeem their pledge after Yar’adua’s death.

The post reads, “First lady Senator Remi is lucky to raise N20 billion for the National Library that has been abandoned for close to 40 years.

“That is commendable and well appreciated. Her Excellency Hajiya Turai Yar’adua was not that lucky; Many people who pledged to donate billions to her International Cancer Center refused to redeem their pledge after Yar’adua died.

“The project remained stalled for over a decade along Airport Road, Abuja.

“Most Donations are ‘eye service’ for people in power. Our First lady should make sure they ‘send alert as quick as possible’. Happy Birthday to the Distinguished First Lady”.
