Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Bianca Ojukwu reiterates Nigeria’s resolve to deepening the strong Nigeria-Angola bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both countries, signaling a strong and renewed partnership.
This was when Bianca Ojukwu declared open, the 5th session of Nigeria-Angola bilateral economic joint commission in Luanda, Angola.
The minister in a statement points out part of the outcomes at the closing that include: activation of the joint commission, MOUs covering strategic sectors, such as Education, Health, Defence, Banking, Oil and Gas, Aviation, Culture, Youth Development, Media and many more.
Furthermore, two "twinning agreements" between Nigerian and Angolan states (Bayelsa-Namibe and Nasarawa-Bengo) are also in consideration.
13 out 19 agreements have been finalized and signed by both countries in the session. And 4 working groups have been tasked to streamline future cooperation.
