 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status. “This country will steadily embarrass you’’’- Tobi Amusan laments inferior kits provided to team Nigeria ahead of World Athletics championship


With just few hours to the kick-off of the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan, former world champion and women’s 100m hurdles record holder, Tobi Amusan, has criticized the Nigerian government over the kit provided for herself and other athletes representing the country at the championship.


Amusan voiced her concerns over what she perceived as unprofessionalism and lack of coordination within the federation.


In a video she shared on her Snapchat, Amusan could said unlike other countries that provide their contingents with kits in suitcases, the Nigerian government hands them their own kits in nylon bags with little or nothing significant inside it. 


‘’This country will steadily embarass you. Una come say make people nor switch allegiance? Una never ready. No singlets. Nothing!’’ she said


She further stated that although the Jamaican authorities are also lagging behind with regards providing for their contingents, they are not as worse as their Nigerian counterpart.
