WITH NO OTHER OPTIONS, A 70-YEAR-OLD WOMAN BIT A PITBULL THAT WAS ATTACKING HER ELDERLY DOG, STOPPING THE ATTACK AND SAVING HER PUP. (PHOTOS).

With no other options, a 70-year-old woman bit a pitbull that was attacking her elderly dog, stopping the attack and saving her pup.

Shirley Paamanick and her dog Sparky were enjoying a daytime stroll near a local shopping center in Orlando, Florida when out of nowhere, a large pit bull streaked onto the scene and began to attack her 14-year-old dog.

Shirley was dragged to the ground in the shuffle and began shouting for help. Although several people stood idly by watching the attack, no one came to her aide.

Shirley, who weighs only 91 lb, had no choice but to take matters into her own hands. She began striking the pit bull with her cane...but to no avail. This spunky elderly woman even used her bare hands to try and pry the pit bulls jaws off of Sparky. She's a braver woman than me I believe.

When all of this failed, Shirley's final option was to go full beast mode which she did by biting the aggressive dog as hard as she could.  Shirley leaned in and clamped down on the back of the pit bulls neck.

This bite caused the pit bull to stop the attack and look at Shirley, confused. Right at this moment, the pitbull's owner showed up.

Without a word of apology or even asking about Shirley or Sparky's well-being, the owner simply grabbed his dog and walked away.

Shirley and Sparky were both left shaken up with bites and bruises on their bodies. Shirley sayid she can not get over the fact that everyone just stood by and watched the attack without attempting to help.

She is also upset that the owner just walked away with no repercussions.  She believes something needs to be done and her and Sparky deserve some kind of justice.
