A WOMAN CHASED DOWN A 21-YEAR-OLD AND TOOK HIS LIFE AFTER HE "HONKED AT HER" AT AN INTERSECTION. (PHOTO).

Indiana- An Indianapolis woman chased down a 21-year-old  and took his life after he "honked at her" at an intersection.

This heartbreaking incident occurred at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 17th, in Indianapolis.

21-year-old Kentrell Settles (pictured right) was behind 23-year-old Deborah Benefeil at a stop light near 38th and Georgetown. When the light turned green and Benefeil failed to go forward, Kentrell honked his horn to get her moving. When that failed, he drove around her vehicle.

This somehow enraged Deborah Benefeil so much she decided lethal action was required. Deborah began following Kentrell and ultimately pulled a gun and fired a single shot through the window of Kentrell's vehicle, striking him and claiming his life.

After firing the fatal shot, Deborah fled the scene but was later apprehended through the use of license plate readers.

Responding officers found Kentrell suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Kentrell was rushed to a nearby hospital where he passed away as a result of the gunshot.

After Deborah Benefeil was arrested, she refused to cooperate with authorities. However, she was identified as the shooter by Kentrell's girlfriend, who was in the car at the time of the shooting.

Deborah Benefeil had no criminal history prior to the shooting. She is now being held without bail on charges of homicide and criminal recklessness.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Kentrell Settles. His father, Kenneth Murff, said, "He's loved by so many people and so many people are going to miss him. A precious life was taken for no reason."
