 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. Abia State Police Command Commences Enforcement of Tinted Glass Permits


1. In line with existing Federal laws and directives, and following extensive public enlightenment through various media platforms, and extensions of enforcement period to allow members of the public ample time to obtain their tinted glass permits.


2. The Abia State Police Command wishes to inform the public that the enforcement of tinted glass permits will commence on Thursday, 2nd October 2025.


3. Since the online registration process is currently ongoing, members of the public who are yet to obtain their permits are advised to:

Visit the Nigeria Police Specialized Services Automation Project (POSSAP) via the official website: www.possap.gov.ng.


Visit the State Intelligence Department (SID) of the Command for capturing.

4. The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, in his briefing, directed officers to remain professional, respect the rights of members of the public, and desist from exploiting the exercise for extortion. 


5. ⁠He further noted that the Command’s monitoring team will be on ground to ensure officers maintain the highest standards of professionalism during the enforcement As Members of the public are advised to report cases of unprofessional conduct to the Complaint Response Unit, Abia State Police Command through 09031593727 or 09035401645
