Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  ANAMBRA SECURITY: POLICE COMMAND NOTES THAT NDI ANAMBRA HAVE EMBRACED DIALOGUE OVER UNPATRIOTIC ACTIONS SUCH AS PROTESTS AND ILLEGAL SIT-AT-HOME ORDERS.


The Anambra State Police Command has conducted a security situational assessment following credible intelligence reports about a planned protest in some parts of the State.


The assessment revealed that residents, particularly Ndi Anambra, have embraced dialogue and peaceful engagement as a means of addressing concerns, rather than indulging in unpatriotic actions such as protests, illegal sit-at-home orders, or any form of civil disturbance that disrupts public peace and socio-economic activities.


The Command commends the good people of Anambra State for their growing commitment to peace, unity, and progress. It further assures that adequate security arrangements have been emplaced to sustain the existing peace and to ensure that law-abiding citizens continue their legitimate activities without fear.


The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reiterates that the Command under his watch will continue to adopt proactive measures, strengthen community policing strategies, and collaborate with critical stakeholders to maintain security, law, and order across the State.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
