  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Louvre Museum shuts after jewels of 'priceless' value stolen, French interior minister says


The Louvre Museum in Paris remained closed on Sunday as authorities investigated a robbery that French officials described as involving jewels of “priceless” value.

French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati confirmed the theft on social media, noting that no injuries were reported and that she was on site with museum staff and police. Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said several items were stolen from the Apollon Gallery, estimating their value as “inestimable.” He added that at least three suspects were involved, reportedly using a construction ladder to enter or exit the museum, and that the robbery lasted about seven minutes before the suspects fled on motorcycles.

A notice on the museum’s website cited “exceptional reasons” for the closure and thanked visitors for their understanding. Witnesses in line outside the museum described police and military personnel responding to the scene as people inside attempted to escape but were initially unable to exit through locked doors.
