 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  New uniforms for Abia state Harmonized taskforce team 


Governor Alex Otti’s administration has rolled out a new phase of reform in Abia State with the unveiling of fully digitalized uniforms for the state’s Harmonized Taskforce Team — a move aimed at restoring discipline, transparency, and public trust in government enforcement operations.


The newly equipped taskforce is designed to eliminate illegal extortion and sharp practices that have long plagued revenue collection. With the introduction of online ticketing systems, payments and transactions will now go directly into the state purse, cutting off intermediaries and ending the era of selling government contracts to the highest bidder.


Citizens are urged to identify and respect the new taskforce officers wherever they operate, as they represent the renewed order and integrity of Governor Alex Otti’s digital governance vision.


Under this system, no cash collection, no harassment, and no corruption — only accountability and service to the people.
