  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. PRESIDENT TINUBU FORWARDS DR BERNARD DORO'S NAME TO THE SENATE AS MINISTERIAL NOMINEE


 


President Bola Tinubu has forwarded a letter to the Senate seeking the confirmation of Dr Bernard Mohammed Doro from Plateau State as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


 


Dr Doro's nomination follows Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda's election as the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in July. Yilwatda previously served as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.


 


Born on January 23, 1969, in Kwall, Bassa LGA of Plateau State, Dr Doro has over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in clinical practice, pharmaceutical management, strategic leadership, and community engagement in the UK and Nigeria.


 


He has degrees in Pharmacy and law, an MBA focusing on IT-driven business strategy, and a Master's in Advanced Clinical Practice..


 


He is an Independent Prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner with NHS frontline experience across urgent care, walk-in centres, GP practices, and hospital settings.


 


He has also led youth mentorship and social impact initiatives in the diaspora and local communities.

Tinubu Nominates Bernard Doro as Minister


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Dr. Bernard Doro from Plateau State as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


The President has forwarded Doro’s name to the Senate for screening and confirmation.


This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga.
