  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Afghan national arrested in Texas over alleged bomb threat, DHS says

Homeland Security officials announced the arrest of an Afghan national accused of making a bomb threat tied to a social media post in Fort Worth, Texas. Authorities said Mohammad Dawood Alokozay was taken into custody Tuesday after allegedly posting online that he was “building a bomb” and threatening to blow up a building in the Fort Worth area. He was arrested on a state terror charge and is currently being held at a correctional facility in Tarrant County, according to court records. Officials said the arrest was carried out by the Texas Department of Public Safety and a joint terrorism task force.

The arrest came just one day before a separate and unrelated attack in Washington, D.C., in which two National Guard members were shot by another Afghan national, identified as 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal. One of the victims, U.S. Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, later died from her injuries, and Lakanwal now faces a first-degree murder charge. Authorities said immigration officials have also lodged a detainer against Alokozay as the investigation continues. No attorney information for him was immediately available.
