 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland passes away at 24


Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland has died at the age of 24, the team announced Thursday. No cause of death has been disclosed.

“Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers are with his girlfriend, Catalina, and his family,” the Cowboys said in a statement. Kneeland’s agent, Jonathan Perzley, confirmed he passed away on Wednesday night. “I watched him fight his way from a hopeful kid at Western Michigan to a respected professional for the Dallas Cowboys. Marshawn poured his heart into every snap, every practice, and every moment on the field,” Perzley said.

Kneeland, a second-round draft pick last year, played in 18 games and scored his only career touchdown in Monday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals after recovering a blocked punt. The NFL said it is in contact with the Cowboys and is offering counseling resources to teammates and coaches.
