 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Rt Hon Dr Chukwuma Pius Okoye, Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, has expressed strong appreciation and support following today’s plenary session, where His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, presented the 2026 Appropriation Bill themed Changing Gear 3.0, Solution Continues.


In his address, the Deputy Speaker described the budget presentation as a clear demonstration of renewed commitment to progress, accountability, and purposeful development for Anambra State. He commended Governor Soludo for consistently placing the welfare of Ndi Anambra at the forefront of his leadership, noting that the Governor’s achievements across the state continue to speak for themselves and strengthen public confidence.


Rt Hon Okoye remarked that the vision embedded in the 2026 budget offers hope for deeper transformation in the coming year. He highlighted that under the Governor’s guidance, Anambra is advancing steadily with clear direction, measurable results, and policies driven by dedication, innovation, and sincerity.


According to him, the 2026 budget signals stronger momentum for the Solution agenda and reinforces the state’s path toward sustained growth and renewed optimism.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
