Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial.  GUNMEN SEIZE BENUE COMMERCIAL BUS, KILL DRIVER & KIDNAP ALL PASSENGERS ON OGOBIA-ADOKA ROAD.

Suspected kidnappers struck again in Benue State, hijacking a fully loaded commercial vehicle along the Ogobia–Adoka road and killing its driver before whisking all passengers into the bush.

The attack, which occurred over the weekend in Otukpo Local Government Area, has sent fresh shockwaves through nearby communities. According to local sources, the gunmen ambushed the vehicle, forced it off the road, and fatally shot the driver, identified as Arrow of God from Aila community in Agatu LGA, before seizing the passengers.

This latest incident adds to growing concerns about rising insecurity on the Ogobia–Adoka corridor. Less than three weeks ago, the same route witnessed another violent episode when suspected robbers attacked two police officers Inspector Amos Okoh and Inspector Joseph Adowebo during a routine patrol.

Residents say fear now hangs over the area as calls grow louder for urgent security reinforcement.
