 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Lionsgate just dropped the official teaser for Michael, the upcoming biographical musical drama celebrating the life and legacy of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. 

Starring Jaafar Jackson, Michael's real-life nephew and son of Jermaine Jackson, in his big-screen debut – and fans are amazed at how much he resembles his uncle while recreating those legendary dance moves and performances!


Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the teaser highlights iconic moments like the moonwalk, "Thriller," "Billie Jean," and more, from Jackson 5 days to global superstar status. It also shows behind-the-scenes glimpses of his creative genius in the studio.


The talented cast includes Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Miles Teller as attorney John Branca, and Juliano Krue Valdi as young Michael. Produced with the involvement of the Michael Jackson estate, the film promises an inspiring portrait of an extraordinary artist.
