 AU urges de-escalation as fighting displaces over 180,000 in South Sudan’s Jonglei state The Chairperson of the African Union Commission called for immediate de-escalation and strict adherence to South Sudan’s 2018 peace agreement, as renewed fighting in Jonglei State displaced more than 180,000 people and raised fears of further civilian harm. In a statement, African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf said he was deeply concerned by the deteriorating security situation in parts of the country, particularly Jonglei, where escalating violence and inflammatory rhetoric have put civilians—including women and children—at heightened risk. South Sudanese authorities estimate the number of displaced in Jonglei at more than 180,000, the United Nations humanitarian agency OCHA said last week.  MDGIF To Build 500 CNG Refuelling Stations Across Nigeria In Next 3 Years


In Line With Federal Government Resolve at Deepening Compressed Natural Gas Utilization, The Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund (MDGIF) has concluded discussion with a leading Chinese Manufacturer to make available 500 CNG refuelling stations across Nigeria for the next 3 years.


A statement by the Executive Director of MDGIF, Oluwole Adama, said the discussion  centred on the creation of a Federal government-backed Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) promoted by MDGIF, and its Investment Partners.

Under the agreement, Compressed Natural Gas Auto Mobility Infrastructure Company , which will be used to deploy 500 integrated CNG refuelling stations, develop Liquefied

Compressed Natural Gas (LCNG), gas supply infrastructure, and provide CNG and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) transportation trucks forming a virtual pipeline across all states nationwide.

The Statement further noted that the project will help ease the long queues currently being experienced at existing CNG filling stations by expanding access to refuelling points and ensuring consistent supply through improved logistics and distribution systems.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
