 The Traditional Ruler of Azumini Ndoki Ancient Kingdom in Ukwa East LGA, Abia State, HRM Eze Edward Eule (Onyenweali X), has dismissed claims by some of his subjects that he abandoned his throne following his temporary absence from the community. This is as six suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with the stealing of the community’s electricity transformer, thus plunging the community into darkness. The monarch, who is currently in the U.S, explained that his trip was to attend to personal and professional matters, adding that he will soon return to Nigeria. "I travelled to the United States of America in May 2025 to attend to some professional and personal matters. I am robustly healthy and fine, and I may soon conclude the task of my sojourn here", he said. Prof. Eule accused individuals he described as "mischief-makers operating under the guise of an Interim Ruling Council" of peddling falsehoods and propaganda about his alleged abdication. ...

 Teenage Girl Arrested for Pouring Hot Water on Woman During Jealous Rage in Denstaat Village 


A 17-year-old girl is expected to appear before the Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 10 November 2025, facing a charge of attempted murder after she allegedly poured hot water on a 20-year-old woman and hit her with a bottle.


The incident occurred on Friday, 07 November 2025, at around 21:00 in Denstaat village under the Alldays policing area in the Capricorn District.


According to reports, the victim was asleep when the suspect woke her up and confronted her about photographs she allegedly found on her boyfriend’s cellphone. During the argument, the suspect allegedly poured hot water over the victim and struck her several times on the head and face with a bottle.


The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police were called to the scene and opened a case of attempted murder. The suspect was arrested shortly thereafter.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
