 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Hon. Obi Aguocha member representing ikwuano/umuahia North/umuahia South federal comstituency in the national Assembly has called on the President to handle the case of Nnamdi Kanu with utmost carefulness, speaking to the press after mazi Nnamdi kanu case today, he stressed  that the action or inaction of the Federal Government on the matter could have lasting effects on the relationship between the South-East and the central government.


According to him, the South-East region has continued to experience unfavourable treatment, suggesting that there appears to be a "different set of laws applied to the south east." He warned that such perceived injustice and unequal treatment could wipe the goodwill the President currently enjoys in the region.


Hon. Aguocha further stated that the people of the South-East will not forget the events surrounding the handling of the Nnamdi Kanu case, emphasizing that even if the current generation forgives, future generations will remember.


"whatever happens now, Nigeria should know that we will not forget, even though we forget our children and grandchildren will not forget." He said.
