Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. Ukraine reportedly accepts US-brokered peace proposal

Ukraine has reportedly agreed to the framework of a U.S.-brokered peace deal, marking a potential first step toward ending the nearly four-year conflict. The agreement was reached during talks in Abu Dhabi between a Ukrainian delegation and U.S. officials, with a Russian delegation also present, though it remains unclear if joint discussions occurred. A U.S. official indicated that minor details still need to be finalized, but Ukraine has accepted the overall terms of the deal.

A Ukrainian official confirmed that the country supports the “essence” of the peace framework, with sensitive issues set to be discussed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump. Neither Russia nor Ukraine has officially commented on the deal, and it remains uncertain whether Moscow will accept the amended terms. The Kremlin has maintained a cautious stance, noting that it is monitoring reports and has no new official information. The agreement comes after Ukraine faced pressure following a secret U.S.-Russia plan that included territorial concessions and military reductions, which Ukraine had previously rejected as crossing its red lines.
