AU urges de-escalation as fighting displaces over 180,000 in South Sudan’s Jonglei state The Chairperson of the African Union Commission called for immediate de-escalation and strict adherence to South Sudan’s 2018 peace agreement, as renewed fighting in Jonglei State displaced more than 180,000 people and raised fears of further civilian harm. In a statement, African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf said he was deeply concerned by the deteriorating security situation in parts of the country, particularly Jonglei, where escalating violence and inflammatory rhetoric have put civilians—including women and children—at heightened risk. South Sudanese authorities estimate the number of displaced in Jonglei at more than 180,000, the United Nations humanitarian agency OCHA said last week.  What God Told Me About The Governor Of Abia State, Alex Otti — Primate Ayodele Reveals

In a recent video released on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Primate Elijah Ayodele shared a new prophecy regarding Dr. Alex Otti, the Governor of Abia State. The cleric indicated that the governor is poised to enter a crucial political period that will shape his future and influence his upcoming major decisions ahead of the next elections.

Ayodele clearly stated that Alex Otti will not run for office under the Labour Party in the upcoming election cycle. He noted that changes within the Labour Party will make it difficult for Otti to continue with the party's platform.

The cleric mentioned that various internal issues will surface, prompting Otti to explore different political options. He emphasized that the governor's political trajectory will no longer mesh with the party's internal dynamics.

Additionally, Ayodele pointed out that the Labour Party will encounter multiple crises that could hinder the ambitions of significant figures, including Otti. He warned that the political backing Otti once enjoyed might wane, necessitating a reassessment of his strategy. The cleric cautioned that remaining within a troubled political structure could impose undue stress on the governor’s administration.

Ayodele advised Otti to be wary of political alliances, as the rising tensions and shifting loyalties across the nation will impact his choices. He stressed that the message he received signals a major political realignment for the governor, which will lead to his separation from the Labour Party.

He concluded by urging Otti to stay focused, avoid internal strife, and prepare for the impending political transition, as the prophecy indicates he will not run under the Labour Party.
