 Avengers: Doomsday, the upcoming fifth Avengers film, is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, returning after their work on Infinity War and Endgame.

It also brings back actors from earlier X-Men films, such as Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and Kelsey Grammer.

After retiring in Endgame and passing the shield to Sam Wilson, the teaser shows Steve living a quiet life on a farm, enjoying time with family—including holding a newborn baby—and looking at his old Captain America suit. It ends with the message "Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday," leading to excitement about his role in the story. Reports indicate Sam Wilson continues as the current Captain America.Details about the full plot are still limited, but it involves multiverse adventures and a major team-up against Doom's threat, setting the stage for Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027.
