 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY, THE UPCOMING FIFTH AVENGERS FILM, IS DIRECTED BY ANTHONY AND JOE RUSSO, RETURNING AFTER THEIR WORK ON INFINITY WAR AND ENDGAME. (PHOTO).


 Avengers: Doomsday, the upcoming fifth Avengers film, is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, returning after their work on Infinity War and Endgame. 


The story shifted to center on Robert Downey Jr. as the powerful villain Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom.The movie features a large cast of heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm / Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm / Human Torch, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm / The Thing, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, and many more. It also brings back actors from earlier X-Men films, such as Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and Kelsey Grammer.


A recent teaser trailer confirms Chris Evans returning as Steve Rogers. After retiring in Endgame and passing the shield to Sam Wilson, the teaser shows Steve living a quiet life on a farm, enjoying time with family—including holding a newborn baby—and looking at his old Captain America suit. It ends with the message "Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday," leading to excitement about his role in the story. Reports indicate Sam Wilson continues as the current Captain America.Details about the full plot are still limited, but it involves multiverse adventures and a major team-up against Doom's threat, setting the stage for Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027. Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026.
