  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Nancy Isime Commissions Playground for Ikorodu Pupils to Mark Her 34th Birthday

 


Nollywood actress Nancy Isime marked her 34th birthday by commissioning a new playground for the pupils of Methodist Primary School, Ikorodu. 


As part of the celebration, she hosted an end-of-year party for the students and staff, highlighting her passion for children’s development, outdoor play, and creativity, describing the gesture as deeply personal, noting that playgrounds and libraries shaped her own childhood.


It has been a tradition widely known by everyone since she became rich and popular in the movie industry, to always celebrate her birthday with children.


Reflecting on her tradition of celebrating with children, Nancy Isime explained that playgrounds and libraries hold a special place in her heart. 


"As a child, reading and playing were my absolute favourite things to do, and you’d definitely find me in the play area, swinging and sliding my young stress away," she said with excitement.


She wrote on her Instagram that commissioning libraries or play areas for children yearly, are usually the highlights of her birthdays for her.


Emphasizing on the importance of physical activity for children, she stated;

"I truly believe that it’s essential for children to have less screen time and more time outside, playing and creating".


After officially opening the area "in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost," the actress was even seen joining the children on the dance floor.
